If you are moving here on orders, start with the installation Housing Services Office (Army Housing Office) in the Soldier Service Center, Building 5700, Room 160. The installation housing page lists 334-255-3233 and 334-255-1205, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

For homes off post, the Housing Services Office points service members to homes.mil, a Department of Defense program with rental listings near military installations. The Army describes the office as providing non-discriminatory listings of rental and for-sale housing, home buying counseling, and landlord-tenant dispute help, and says it has asked local real estate companies to include the military clause in their leases.

Family housing on post is privatized and managed by Corvias Military Living. The Army lists the Corvias leasing office at the Bowden Community Center, 9700 Division Road, 334-440-8988.

Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) depends on duty-station ZIP code, pay grade, and dependency status. The Department of Defense bases it on local rental costs and notes it is not intended to cover every housing cost, so agents and landlords can use it as a guide when pricing homes for military renters and buyers.

Drone photography is not available on Fort Rucker. The post is restricted military airspace, so we do not fly there. Ground photography of homes on post is available: interiors, exteriors, and floor plans.

Daleville is right next to Fort Rucker, and much of the town is in controlled or restricted airspace. Tyler is an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot and checks every Daleville address before booking. Drone shoots in Daleville are possible in many areas with FAA LAANC airspace authorization, but approval takes time, so please book a few days ahead. If a property cannot be flown, we tell you before the appointment.
